Pricing model
Help Scout charges per user. The free plan covers up to 5 users, 1 inbox and 1 Docs site. Standard is $25 per user/mo (up to 25 users, 2 inboxes), Plus $45 (up to 50 users, 5 inboxes) and Pro $75 (unlimited users with a 10-user minimum, 10 inboxes); extra inboxes are $10 per month on annual billing ($12 monthly). AI Answers is $0.75 per resolution, and Help Scout lets you set a monthly cap on those resolutions.
Eight users on Standard are 8 Γ $25 = $200 a month. If AI Answers resolves 200 questions, that adds 200 Γ $0.75 = $150, so $350 unless you cap it.
SuperBot on the website for the same eight people is $25 a month for 2,000 conversations; there is no per-resolution charge to cap.
Credit where due
Help Scout's core is shared email with multiple inboxes per plan. SuperBot's inbox is for website conversations, not email.
The free plan already includes a Docs site for public articles, and further Docs sites are $20 a month on annual billing ($24 monthly).
AI Answers can be capped per month, which keeps a per-resolution price from running away.

Why evaluate SuperBot
Add your public Docs article URLs and SuperBot answers visitors from them on any page, with a source label when an article supports the reply.
The ninth, twenty-sixth or fiftieth teammate costs nothing extra, and a resolved chat is never billed separately.
Lead capture, Calendly or Cal.com booking and read-only order lookups happen inside the chat, on every plan.
