What Gorgias bills
Gorgias prices its plans by ticket volume, not by the number of agents. Each plan includes a set number of tickets a month, and its AI Agent is billed per interaction. The rates below come from Gorgias's public pricing page as checked in October 2026.
Plan tiers
- Starter. Monthly price: $10 (monthly billing only). Yearly price: No yearly price listed. Included tickets a month: 50.
- Basic. Monthly price: $60. Yearly price: $50 a month billed yearly. Included tickets a month: 300.
- Pro. Monthly price: $360. Yearly price: $300 a month billed yearly. Included tickets a month: 2,000.
- Advanced. Monthly price: $900. Yearly price: $750 a month billed yearly. Included tickets a month: 5,000.
- Enterprise. Monthly price: Custom quote. Yearly price: Custom quote. Included tickets a month: Check the live page.
Gorgias offers a 7-day free trial. The trial does not ask for payment details.
The jump from Starter to Basic is the first decision point for most stores. Starter is billed monthly only, and its 50-ticket limit fills quickly for a store with steady order questions. Basic adds 300 tickets, and the yearly price is $10 a month lower than the monthly one.
How AI Agent is billed
The AI Agent is billed per interaction. The page lists $1.00 per interaction on monthly billing and $0.90 on yearly billing, and the same rate applies on every plan.
Check one point before you run any numbers. The Gorgias pricing page states that each AI interaction counts as one helpdesk ticket, and that interactions above each plan's included amount cost $1.50 each. Confirm the included amount for your plan on the live page before you forecast.
Here is the arithmetic on annual billing, treating every interaction at the $0.90 rate. Each AI interaction costs $0.90, so 200 interactions cost $180 before the plan price. Interactions above each plan's included amount cost $1.50 each, so the real total depends on that included amount.
A worked example for a growing store
Say a store uses the Basic plan on yearly billing, which is $50 a month, and its AI handles 200 interactions a month. The AI part is $180, so the total is $230 a month before any add-ons. If the store grows to 500 AI interactions, the AI part becomes $450 and the total becomes $500 a month. The plan price is the smaller part of the bill once AI volume grows.
These figures are for planning only. Use Gorgias's quote for your own ticket and interaction counts, because the way each unit is counted decides the final bill.
What to compare with other tools
Gorgias is built for ecommerce support teams that work in tickets. Its price model suits stores that want ticketing, macros and order views in one place, and that accept per-interaction AI charges.
A website agent prices differently. SuperBot counts conversations on flat plans: the free plan covers 200 a month with no card, Starter is $25 a month for 2,000, and Pro is $60 a month for unlimited conversations. SuperBot answers from your own content and store data, shares an inbox with the transcript, and captures leads into a built-in CRM. It does not replace a ticketing helpdesk, so compare it on the jobs your team actually needs.
Tidio is another option for stores that want chat, AI and visual flows, with separate meters for billable conversations, Lyro AI and Flows. Compare each meter against your own volume before you choose.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Are AI interactions counted against my included tickets, or billed on top?
- What happens when I pass the ticket limit: does the plan upgrade, or do I pay per extra ticket?
- Is yearly billing available on the plan I need, and what is the cancellation rule?
- Can I export tickets, macros and AI settings if I leave?
- Which integrations are included in my plan, such as Shopify order views?
What to do this week
- Count your tickets and AI interactions for the last 30 days, separately.
- Check the plan that matches your ticket count, and write down its monthly and yearly price with the date you checked.
- Ask Gorgias in writing whether AI interactions count against included tickets on your plan.
- Compare the total with a flat conversation plan at the same volume, then pick the option whose bill you can forecast.
- Review the bill after one full month, and adjust the plan if the AI volume changes.
