AI chatbot for law firms

Prospective clients want to know whether you handle their kind of matter, what a first consultation costs and how quickly someone can talk to them. SuperBot answers that from your site, captures the intake details you choose and books the consultation — without drifting into legal advice.

SuperBot is trained on your firm's practice-area pages, fee structures, consultation process and office details. It explains what the firm handles and how engagement works, captures intake details into its built-in CRM or HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, books consultations through Calendly or Cal.com, and hands the conversation to your intake team with the full transcript. It is set up to decline legal questions about someone's situation and to make clear that chatting does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

Example

Visitor: My landlord kept my whole deposit. Do you handle that, and what does it cost to talk to someone?

Agent: Yes, the firm handles landlord–tenant disputes, including deposit claims. Initial consultations are 30 minutes and free for tenant matters.

Visitor: Great. Will I win?

Agent: I can't assess your case — that's for an attorney in the consultation. Shall I book one? The next openings are Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

What visitors ask

The questions your law firm gets every week.

And how the agent should handle each one — from your own content, or by handing it to a person.

  1. “Do you handle landlord–tenant disputes?”

Matches the question against your practice-area pages and says yes, no, or 'let me connect you with intake' when it's borderline.

  2. “How much does a first consultation cost?”

Quotes your published consultation fee or free-consult policy, word for word.

  3. “Do you work on contingency?”

Explains which matter types you take on contingency, hourly or flat fee, as your fee page describes.

  4. “Do I have a case?”

Declines to assess it, explains that only a lawyer can, and offers to book a consultation.

  5. “What documents should I bring to the consultation?”

Lists the documents you ask for by matter type, from your intake guidance.

  6. “How long do I have to file?”

Never answers deadlines for a situation; it recommends speaking with a lawyer promptly and books a call.

  7. “Do you have a lawyer who speaks Spanish?”

Answers from your attorney bios, and the widget itself can reply in the visitor's language.

What it does

What SuperBot handles for a law firm.

Every feature is on every plan, including the free one.

Every feature

Structured intake

Collect the matter type, contact details and preferred contact time you choose, and send them to the built-in CRM or your existing CRM.

Consultations on the calendar

Offer consultation slots through Calendly or Cal.com so prospective clients book while they're still on your site.

Intake staff take over

Anything urgent or sensitive moves to a person in the shared inbox with the transcript attached.

35 widget languages

Visitors are answered in their own language from the same reviewed content.

Honest limits

What it should not do.

SuperBot answers from trained answers and your content first. When nothing approved matches and confidence is low, the chat waits for a human. Set these limits as escalation rules and trained answers before you go live, then test them.

  • No legal advice: no assessments of whether someone has a case, no deadlines, no predicted outcomes.
  • State in the greeting that the chat does not create a lawyer–client relationship and that visitors shouldn't share confidential details.
  • Collect only the intake fields your conflict-check process needs; detailed facts belong in the consultation.
  • Your jurisdiction's advertising and solicitation rules still apply to what the agent says. Review trained answers the way you'd review web copy.

Setup checklist

What to train it on first.

Point SuperBot at your site, then make sure these are covered. Most of it is content you already have.

  1. 01

    Practice-area pages

One clear page per area, including the matters you do not take, so the agent can decline accurately.

  2. 02

    Fees and consultation terms

Consultation fees, contingency or flat-fee rules, and payment options.

  3. 03

    Attorney bios

Languages spoken, bar admissions and practice focus answer 'who would I work with'.

  4. 04

    Disclaimer wording

A greeting and a trained answer stating the assistant cannot give legal advice and chatting creates no lawyer–client relationship.

  5. 05

    Intake fields

Decide the minimum: name, contact, matter type, opposing party name for conflicts if your process needs it.

  6. 06

    Escalation for urgency

Rules that route arrests, court dates this week or safety concerns straight to a person.

FAQ

Questions law firms ask us.

Something else about your setup? Talk to a human — a real person reads every message.

Could the chatbot accidentally give legal advice?

SuperBot answers from trained answers and your content first, and only uses a constrained model reply when no source matches. Add escalation rules and a trained answer that declines situation-specific legal questions, test with realistic prompts before launch, and review transcripts in the inbox.

Does chatting create an attorney–client relationship?

That's a question for your firm's professional-responsibility rules, not software. Most firms state in the greeting that it does not and ask visitors not to share confidential information; SuperBot lets you set that greeting.

Can it do conflict checks?

No. It can collect the fields your conflict process needs — such as the names of other parties — and pass them to intake staff, who run the check.

Does it integrate with legal practice-management software?

SuperBot doesn't list integrations with legal practice-management tools. Leads go to its built-in CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Slack, Zapier or a custom webhook.
