AI chatbot for restaurants

During service nobody can answer the phone, and the questions don't stop: are you open on the bank holiday, do you have vegan options, can I bring a cake, do you take groups of twelve. SuperBot answers from your menus and policies and turns private-event enquiries into leads.

SuperBot trains on your menus, opening hours, allergen information, booking policy and events pages, and answers diners in 35 languages with the source shown. It sends people to your existing reservation page, captures private-dining and catering enquiries as leads, and hands special requests to staff in a shared inbox. It never guarantees a dish is allergen-free — severe allergies are always referred to the team.

Example

Visitor: Do you have vegan mains? Coming Saturday with 6 people.

Agent: Yes — the dinner menu has three vegan mains, marked (VG). Groups of up to 8 can book online; here's the reservation page.

Visitor: One of us is coeliac, is that ok?

Agent: Several dishes are marked gluten-free, but the kitchen handles gluten, so we can't guarantee no cross-contact. Please mention it when booking and the team will talk you through options.

What visitors ask

The questions your restaurant gets every week.

And how the agent should handle each one — from your own content, or by handing it to a person.

  1. “Are you open on Christmas Eve?”

Answers from the holiday hours you add; if they aren't published yet, it says so and gives the phone number.

  2. “Do you have gluten-free or vegan options?”

Points to the marked dishes on your menu and repeats your cross-contamination note.

  3. “I have a severe nut allergy — is the kitchen safe for me?”

Never reassures. It gives your allergy statement and asks the diner to speak to staff before booking.

  4. “Can I book a table for 12 on Friday?”

Explains your large-group policy and links to your reservation page, or captures the request for the events team.

  5. “Do you do private hire or catering?”

Collects date, headcount, budget and contact details as a lead and sends them to the right person.

  6. “Is there parking, and is it wheelchair accessible?”

Answers from your location and accessibility details.

  7. “Can I bring my own cake or wine?”

Quotes your corkage or cakeage policy exactly.

What it does

What SuperBot handles for a restaurant.

Every feature is on every plan, including the free one.

Every feature

Menus and policies, quoted exactly

Upload menu PDFs or crawl your menu pages; answers show the source so diners can check.

Private dining and catering leads

Event enquiries arrive in the built-in CRM with date, headcount and contact, or go to Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Kit.

Special requests to a person

Anniversaries, allergies and complaints go to the shared inbox with the whole chat.

Tourists answered in their language

35 widget languages from the same menu and policy content.

Honest limits

What it should not do.

SuperBot answers from trained answers and your content first. When nothing approved matches and confidence is low, the chat waits for a human. Set these limits as escalation rules and trained answers before you go live, then test them.

  • Never guarantee a dish is safe for an allergy. Severe allergies always get your allergy statement and a referral to staff.
  • SuperBot doesn't list integrations with restaurant reservation systems, so it doesn't check live table availability — it links to your reservation page instead.
  • Menus and prices change. Re-sync after every menu update, and have the agent say that specials vary.
  • Complaints and refund requests go to a manager, not an automated apology.

FAQ

Questions restaurants ask us.

Something else about your setup? Talk to a human — a real person reads every message.

Can SuperBot take restaurant reservations?

SuperBot doesn't list integrations with restaurant reservation platforms, so it won't check live tables. It answers questions and links diners to your existing booking page. Calendly or Cal.com suit appointment-style bookings such as tasting sessions or event walk-throughs.

How does it handle allergy questions?

It points to dietary markers on your menu and repeats your allergen statement. For severe allergies, write a trained answer that refers the diner to staff — the agent should never promise a dish is safe.

Can I upload my menu as a PDF?

Yes. SuperBot trains on documents as well as web pages. Re-upload whenever the menu changes.

Is it worth it for a single small restaurant?

The Free plan covers 200 conversations a month with no card, which is often enough for one location. Starter is $25/month for 2,000.
